As we look around our workplaces, communities and in our homes we see now, more than ever, a push for progress in many spaces of our society. The 8 March represents a day of opportunity to celebrate women and a call to action to press forward with change.

Currently, with a strong global momentum striving for gender parity, there has never been a more imperative time to #PressforProgress. In 2017 the World Economic Forum's 2017 Global Gender Gap Report told us we would be waiting 200 years before the gender parity was over. For most of us, this is just too long. Global activism for female equality and inclusion, fuelled by movements such as #MeToo and #TimesUp has highlighted our chance to change our path and strive for a better tomorrow.

Collectively we can all play our part so remember, today marks the start of this year’s running theme. Knowing that change won’t happen overnight we encourage you to keep pressing forward in your actions and endeavours both in your professional and personal lives.

As an organisation we hope to motivate our families and communities we work with to think, act and be gender inclusive. Vulnerable children in your area need both women and men in their lives to make a positive impact, and shape their future. Families come in all shapes and sizes and it is important to encourage a diverse support network to develop each young person. We are very proud of many bold women in our organisation which work with our young people every day to help nurture and positively change their lives.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank these women, all the staff, carers, advocates, volunteers, mothers, and sisters who work tirelessly to provide better outcomes for our young people and their families.

How will you #PressforProgress?

Head over to and take action today.
