Berkeley Community Hub
The CareSouth Community Hub provides shared office, conference and meeting spaces for local service providers in the Berkeley area. It is a gathering place and an access point for social programs and services to the community.
At CareSouth we support community initiatives where ever possible. We are currently seeking expressions of interest from social program and service providers who wish to utilise the facilities of our flexible, modern complex.
The venue is easily accessible by public transport and there is plentiful free, off-street parking. Inspections are welcome.

Meet & Eat
Once a month CareSouth opens up our Berkeley Community Hub for Meet & Eat. We invite anyone to come along, enjoy a meal and share time with members of the local community. Delicious meals are prepared in our kitchen here, with generous donations from local businesses.

CareSouth Supported Playgroup
Playgroup is an informal gathering where babies, toddlers and preschool-aged children, along with their parents or carers, come together to connect, play and learn. Our free playgroup meets once a week during school terms, 9:30-11:30am, in our Community Hub at 2 Matilda Way, Berkeley.
- A large, indoor play space with room to run, move, jump and make noise
- Toys that nurture imagination, fine and gross motor skills, and cooperation
- Toys for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers
- A craft or ‘messy’ activity such as playdough
- Singing and/or story time
- The opportunity to socialise and form friendships with other children.
