CareSouth’s response to changes in residential care service delivery. Learn More
CareSouth hosts Health Hub events annually across its regional footprint. Health Hubs provide a comprehensive range of free health checks for children and young people that CareSouth supports across a range of programs. The purpose of the Health Hub is to make critical health appointments more accessible to those who may experience barriers to accessing preventative healthcare services. It enables children and young people to see multiple healthcare professionals on the same day, in a familiar, supportive environment. The event ensures children and young people receive their annual health checks and eases the burden on foster carers and families.
The CareSouth Community Hubs in Berkeley and Nowra provide shared office, conference and meeting spaces for local service providers. It is a gathering place and an access point for social programs and services to the community. The spaces are available for hire from social program and service providers who wish to utilise the facilities of our flexible, modern complex. At CareSouth, we support community initiatives where possible. There is plentiful free, off-street parking. Inspections are welcome.

Meet & Eat began in 2015 as an initiative to bring members of the Berkeley community together for a home-cooked meal. Dinners continue to be hosted monthly out of the Berkeley Community Hub, prepared and served by CareSouth staff. It expanded to CareSouth’s Nowra office with a focus on sharing meals with participants in the organisation’s NDIS program. Regardless of the location or guests, the heart of the initiative remains; to nourish and foster community through food. Meet & Eat is supported by generous donations from local businesses.
