Help raise awareness of CareSouth’s Aunties & Uncles mentoring program and its incredible volunteers who support kids in our communities to build a better future and reduce their chance of entering the foster care system.
The Warm Hearts, Warm Feet campaign is a nod to how our Aunties & Uncles volunteers make kids feel safe, snug and supported – just like a cosy pair of slippers on your feet. The program warms everyone’s hearts; the child, the volunteer, and ours.

Your impact on kids who need a helping hand
CareSouth’s Aunties & Uncles program connects vulnerable children with carefully matched volunteers to help them experience new, everyday things. It’s all about helping them navigate challenges, build resilience and develop important social and emotional skills.
The program has been running for nearly 30 years and relies on volunteers to guide and support children and families who need a helping hand. It’s an early intervention program to reduce the chance of a child entering the foster care system; it doesn’t receive funding but makes an incredible difference in the lives of children to help them build a better future. And we’re only just scratching the surface.
Your support, whether participating in the Warm Hearts, Warm Feet campaign, or raising funds will help CareSouth continue to run the Aunties & Uncles program and expand its reach to help as many kids and families in our local communities as possible.
