Corporate Services

CareSouth is an innovative Community Services organisation supporting children, young people, families and those living with disability in seven locations across NSW. CareSouth provides foster care, early intervention, disabilities, youth support and homelessness services. The organisation’s frontline teams couldn’t do the work they do without the support of corporate services. These teams include finance, property, people and culture, marketing communications and customer care.

Finance: CareSouth’s finance team is responsible for the planning, implementation and management of the organisation’s day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, payroll and accounting. The team also provides forecasting and data reporting to determine future strategic planning goals for the organisation.

Property: CareSouth’s property team maintains and manages seven offices across NSW. The team also undertakes the fit-out and maintenance of dozens of properties that house participants in the organisation’s foster care, disabilities and youth programs. The team’s current focus is to reduce CareSouth’s environmental footprint across the organisation.

People and Culture: CareSouth’s People and Culture team use strategic recruitment techniques to attract staff of the highest calibre who are passionate about making a difference in their community. The team is responsible for the recruitment, onboarding, orientation and induction of our nearly 500 employees. CareSouth recognises the importance of work/life balance for employees and provides hybrid working conditions and access to training and advancement opportunities to ensure staff wellbeing.

Marketing and Communications: CareSouth’s Community Engagement team travel across NSW working with local teams to organise events, manage media enquiries, communicate with CareSouth’s internal and external stakeholders and develop new marketing initiatives and strategies based on need. The team liaise with a large number of partners and run highly successful community programs in each of our locations.

Customer Care: CareSouth Connect, the organisation’s centralised call centre, and our After-Hours call service is the first point of contact for all enquiries, and the first to respond in a crisis through the organisation’s incident reporting system. The team are on call 24/7 to support carers, staff, children, young people and families. As the organisation has grown so too has the need for a centralised point of contact, with CareSouth Connect operating during business hours and the After-Hours team after 5pm.
